Seasonal Job Openings!

We will be holding our annual Job Fair on March 2 from 9:00 am to Noon CT. Below are descriptions of each position we have open for the season.


Lifeguard – Our lifeguards maintain a safe, clean and sanitary pool and waterpark area and ensure that all safety equipment is present at all times. We will provide lifeguard certification training. You will be responsible for regulating guests using the pool and waterpark, utilizing a point of sale system to sell wristbands to waterpark guests, and reporting pool and waterpark conditions to managers.

Resort Housekeeper – Are you someone who likes keeping things tidy and clean? Help us make our resort the kind of place guests can’t wait to return to. Housekeepers help us ensure our resort is kept looking well-tended and attractive. Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities and buildings to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

RV Ranger – We’re not talking about Smokey the Bear here, and we sure hope you won’t have to put out any forest fires. Rangers are responsible for ensuring the overall safety of our guests and enforcing campground and golf car rules. They escort arrivals to their site as needed, communicate all issues and concerns to the Resort Manager, and monitor for unregistered guests, all while providing excellent customer service.

Store Clerk – Do you enjoy providing customer service to others? As a Store Clerk, you’ll order, receive and stock merchandise and handle all aspects of merchandise sales. You will use a point of sale system to sell merchandise, as well as Holiday World tickets, collect payment, and make change. You will also ensure our guests and customers receive quality customer service.

RV Maintenance Technician – Do you enjoy working with your hands? Resort Maintenance Technicians perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain our resort. They conduct vacation rental and golf car maintenance repairs and are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, streets, equipment, and various utility systems. Resort Maintenance Technicians provide excellent customer service to current guests at all times and keep accurate records of maintenance calls and issues.

Shuttle Operator – Are you a customer service professional who enjoys meeting new people? You will be responsible for guest satisfaction, safety and security. Shuttle Operators are responsible for transporting guests around our resort and to/from Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. They maintain great customer service, satisfaction, safety and security of guests.

Resort Reservation Specialist – Do you enjoy working in sales and customer service roles? Are you looking for a dynamic and growing organization that will both challenge and reward you? Resort Reservation Specialists create a pleasant and engaging experience for our resort customers through our call center, advise customers through the customer experience process, and educate guests on resort location, amenities and bookings.

Guest Services Coordinator – Are you a customer service all-star who is looking for a dynamic and growing organization that will both challenge and reward you? As a Guest Service Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for checking guests in, cleaning and inspecting golf cars, answering phone calls, and making walk in reservations. You’ll work closely with our guests and other management staff. You will also provide excellent customer service, problem solve, and communicate concerns to appropriate managers.

Activities Assistant – Do you enjoy crafts, activities, and meeting new people? Our Activities Assistants help coordinate a variety of activities for the guests. They assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising activities, games, and crafts. You will also set-up and clean-up after activities, ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition, and keep an inventory of supplies.

Snack Bar Attendant – Do you enjoy providing others with exceptional customer service? As a Snack Bar Attendant you’ll also be responsible for preparing and serving food items, cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas. You will also utilize a point of sale system to sell food items to our guests, collect payments, and make change.

Resort Groundskeeper – Do you enjoy being outdoors and working with your hands? You will help us ensure the resort grounds are kept looking well-tended and attractive. Help us make our resort the kind of place guests can’t wait to return to. Resort Groundskeepers perform a variety of landscaping maintenance. They regularly mow lawns, weed, remove debris from property grounds, and overall ensure our resorts are well-maintained and look presentable. You will also clean sites after each guest checks out, pick up trash, and maintain overall cleanliness of the resort.

Gate Attendant – Do you enjoy working with the public? Our Gate Attendants check in late arrivals and escort to sites after normal business hours, communicate all issues and concerns to the Resort Manager, and monitor the grounds for unregistered guests, all while providing excellent customer service. This is an overnight position and shift is 10pm – 7am only.

Do you enjoy working with the public? Join our team at Lake Rudolph and embark on an exciting new opportunity! We are looking for a Hospitality Host to greet all visitors and direct them to their destinations. Customer service is important since you will be the first line of contact for all visitors!

OVERVIEW

Hospitality Hosts greet all visitors and directs them to their destinations. They obtain pertinent information from each guest entering the campground, handing out promotional materials to prospective guests, and checking in late arrival guests.

This is an overnight position with shifts from 10pm to 7am, including weekends.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Greet all visitors and guests, directing them to their destinations.
  2. Obtain name, license plate number, phone number, and email address of each non-resident/guest entering the community.
  3. Hand-out promotional material to prospective guests.
  4. Answer the telephone courteously.
  5. Submit maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer and water break problems as needed.
  6. Greet and register late arriving guests, if applicable; Escort late arriving RVs to the appropriate site.
  7. On a nightly basis, check all buildings, turn-off lights, and lock doors and gates as directed. Monitor the community, noting any deficiencies. Check homes on the house checklist for unusual situations requiring attention.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read maps
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to respond to community needs during non-business hours
